Bahrain washrooms!

I know it's disgusting but someone has to do it, here are some lessons in etiquette regarding washrooms! It's for free so you're welcome.

Have you ever noticed how public washrooms in Bahrain ALWAYS seem like they’ve been hit by the tsunami!

I've never gone to a public washroom and not regretted going there, it's always ALWAYS an experience you will live to regret and i always say I'm gonna hold it in until I get back home but sometimes you just can't!! I have some friends that are welling to develop kidney stones rather than going to a public restroom, which is completely understandable. Lol!

And I'm talking here about the ladies' room of course, I don't really visit the men's room but I think they're somewhat dirtier :P I've heard from a lot of sources that guys tend to forget washing their hands even the most sophisticated classy guys out there are guilty of it! I guess I'll start thinking twice before I shake a guys hand :P

Back to the ladies room, we rarely even use the toilet we just go there to retouch our makeup and gossip, 90% of the time girls are in the washroom they're actually fixing their makeup. Trust me! I'm guilty of that myself :P

Busy women's restrooms are like 'gossip central': "Did you, like, see what she was wearing is she serious! ? Oh my God! I couldn't believe it.... she's like a fashion disaster".

It's good etiquette not to block others from the sink while retouching your makeup. I mean, I do this sometimes.. without realizing!..

Girls tend to socialize in restrooms and somehow that’s acceptable, they talk, gossip stuff like that. HOWEVER men are not allowed to socialize especially when they're using the urinal! You can't socialize while using the urinal you just can't! you can't go like " HEY! shakhbar, nice weather today" dude! You're not here to socialize! leave the guy alone! You can't sing, you can't whistle, you can't peek, AND YOU defiantly can't touch!

Actually I don't understand the whole urinal thing! I mean it's so weird and so not private! How can you "GO" when someone is next to you, is there a rule like.. heheehe leaving space between one urinal and the other! I don't know.. I just don't understand! What about aiming! :P hehehe ok lets just not talk about that.. I guess you master that with practice! What about people who wear thoob! I guess that's just something I will never understand. I mean I have a friend who wouldn't go to the restroom if there is someone near here in the next cubicle! So it's very surprising to me that men can actually do that!

FLUSHING! I can't even stress on how much this bothers me, I don't understand why people don't flush? Is it too exhausting? They invented this human waste disposer so that no one gets to see what you, yourself don't want to see. It's really disgusting.

I find it really disgusting when I walk into a washroom and there is wet toilet paper on the floor, water all over the place, kids running around, liquid soup spelled on the sink and don't get me started on the smell, why can't people be clean when they go to a public washroom, I know for a fact that they will never do that in their own washroom. I just find this completely rude and disgusting.

At the end of the day our prophet Mohammed said (้الله نظيف يحب النظافة ) and since we were in kindergarten we've always been told that النظافة من الإيمان" "

As Muslims we should always be clean and set an example for others because it's a part of our religion, but, why does it seem to me that it's not the case here?
Bottom line is unless you're using a toilet in a 5 star hotel in Bahrain, trust me, it's an experience you will regret for the rest of your life.

Animal testing!

Imagine being locked in a cage and constantly given drugs or forced to do some stupid stuff every time a new product is about to come out, or every time something needs to be tested! Imagine having tubes shoved down your throat, up in your ass (mind my French) or right in your eyes with really harmful chemicals .

Imagine if you were an animal, how would you feel if you had no voice and you were deprived from all your rights and were used for experimental tests every single day and that’s “IF” you survived the tests done to you.

Can you imagine they use up to 5000 animal to test a single chemical in one single experiment! Now these tests are done to prevent harm against humans ok? I understand that but what about those poor animals? Why isn’t there anyone defending them?

I swear to god if someone took 5 mins of his time to put himself in those animals shoes, things wouldn’t be the way they are. Trust me.

A lot of researchers who happened to be animal lovers, came out of ways to test besides animals like computer modeling, improved statistical design and synthetic skin called corrositex, so there are alternatives and I’m sure there will be more if something was said.

I read somewhere that ONLY 94% of animal testing is done to determine the safety of the product while ONLY 6% IS THE ACTUALL RESEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!

And yeah!!!!! Do you know that chocolate.. what is it called MARS? Yeah Mars .. the one with the black cover!!! THE COMPANY THAT PRODUCES MARS is among the worst when it comes to animal testing some animals suffer so much they actually die there! They put animals through hell while testing!

NOW MY QUESTION IS AND IM CAPSING BECAUSE IM MAD!!!!!! WHAT ON EARTH IS IN THAT CANDY THAT CAN ACTUALLY KILL THOSE ANIMALS, I mean if its enough to harm the poor animal why are you selling it aslan!! Can’t you use natural stuff in your candy/food or whatever!

Back in the days when my grandma was alive, they had food, they had cleaning products, they had some kinda makeup and it was all natural, they survived didn’t they? they didn’t have to put animals through hell just to test a new lipstick ! Why do animals need to suffer just because our society has simply gone lazy!

P.S girls if you want to buy makeup, buy from THE BODY SHOP, they’re against animal testing. :) and their products are awesome.

Some animals don’t die from the tests performed but it’s the fact that they suffer from hunger, thirst, isolation and depression that also causes the animals to die.

you guys might think what does she know, she’s just a vegetarian chick who happens to love animals and doesn’t know what she’s talking about, but no, I’ve researched and i read a lot about these tests they actually harm more that they benefit, and even if they do benefit humans to some extent im still against it, and i'm sure nobody is going to stop testing on animals but at least if something was said, they might actually have some mercy in this area and something might actually be changed.

Because.. just imagine.. if it was you in that cold lab, hungry alone and scared. You wouldn’t want that would you? So why innocent animals should be held up to that responsibility just because they don’t have a voice to step up to the human society and say no more I Quit!
