Recently I’ve been obsessed with trying out new mascaras , and to be honest a mascara is just a mascara like I've never tried a mascara that doesn’t coat my lashes or something you know what I mean?! the only difference is that there is a mascara that thickens your lashes and one that lengthens your lashes, and another one that makes you look like you're wearing false lashes basically different purposes.
Back to YSL's shocking mascara, I heard a lot of people rave about this mascara how great it is and how it looks like you're wearing false lashes when it's on and all that jazz.
So my sister in law was kind enough to give it to me as a gift few days back <3 and I was so excited to wear it. So I tried it on one eye. I put one coat on. It was ok.. nothing much happened I mean.. my eyelashes got darker!.. I tried going over it few times I noticed it was getting so clumpy.. although I removed the access product from the wand! Btw the wand was very normal nothing special about it!
Anyways I decided to give it another try the next day. So I put my whole make up on and I tried the mascara again. It was good. but again it was so clumpy and it doesn’t' lengthen at all! I guess the reason it's so clumpy is because it's suppose to be thickening? I don’t' know.
Generally YSL are known for the great quality of their mascaras and I tried different mascaras from them before and they're frankly better than this one. Anyways it’s a good mascara but it's not THAT shocking!
Anyways umm .. they're back now and they're very trendy I found a dress in forever21 exactly like the ones I owned back when I was a kid and it was so adorable and so beautiful. I'm just loving texture this winter, and velvet is one of my favorites.
The black dress with white detail gives me the perfect palette to add a pop of color in the shoes I choose. Maybe bright red heels or some ankle booties with white socks peeking out the top.
The only problem is that it's too short my mom once saw me wearing it and said: NICE TOP! So I'm guessing I'll wear them with stockings!
Have you ever wondered whether humans are supposed to eat meat or just have a plant based diet? Well, I have.. and that’s why I decided to search more about it.
I watched few videos and read few articles that claim humans are naturally vegetarians because our bodies resemble plant eaters, for example this video.
So let’s compare plant eaters like Cows, and meat eaters like Lions and humans lets say Me :)
Lions: Have claws
cows: No claws
Me: last time I checked No claws :P
Lions: have sharp front teeth for tearing, with no flat molar teeth for grinding
cows: no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding
Me: no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding
Lions: have intestinal tract that is only 3 times their body length so that rapidly decaying meat can pass through quickly
cows: have intestinal tract 10-12 times their body length.
Me: have intestinal tract 10-12 times their body length.
lions: have strong hydrochloric acid in stomach to digest meat
cows: have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater
Me: have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater
Lions: salivary glands in mouth not needed to pre-digest grains and fruits.
cows: well-developed salivary glands which are necessary to pre-digest grains and fruits
Me: well-developed salivary glands, which are necessary to pre-digest, grains and fruits
Lions: have acid saliva with no enzyme ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Cows: have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Me: have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains
So THIS brings us to the conclusion that we are very similar to cows aka plant eaters..
Is that really the case though? well, NO we are unfortunately Ominovors and it’s hard for me to admit that but it’s true humans are capable of eating either meat or plant foods.
See here is the thing, we share something with apes and that is, we both eat what’s available, you would think that apes are plant eaters but No, if there are plants around they would choose that of course but if there is nothing else but meat, they would eat what’s available, exactly like us, we would eat anything that is available for us, because our bodies are built to eat meat and plants BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO EAT MEAT, you have the choice to choose whatever you want to eat.
And please don't bother me by saying meat is the greatest source of protein because even kindergarten kids know better than that.
I just wanted to make it clear that I am aware that humans are Aminovors and can eat meat and plants and that im not a tree huger, sunshine eater or a strict retarded vegan, but I don’t agree with statements saying that “ we were born to eat meat” cause no one can determine what a man was meant to eat.
As I said we should look at species similar to us like apes, chimpanzees and gorillas and see that our digestive system and teeth can process meat just like those animals but it’s better to eat plants because it’s better and more convenient that’s why it’s those animals first choice, If you offered an ape a piece of burger or a banana it would defiantly choose the banana although it has the option of eating both.
So if the ape is making the right choice don’t you think we should as well?
